In many industries on the Internet ebooks are a massively positive area of growth.
An ebook, for the uninitiated, is an electronic book.
And the reasons for their popularity are many:
Firstly, you can download ebooks moments after paying for them. So if you're looking for information on a particular subject (like snakes)
you can find the ebook, pay for it, and be reading it within minutes. It's the fastest way I know to get quality information fast. Even if it's 2 in the morning!
You are in control and either leave the ebook file on your computer or print it out if you wish and so as ebooks don't come in a printed format
they can be constantly updated and so are far more likely to be accurate, correct and error free than a traditional book.
Being electronic, ebooks can also have a wide variety of additional features not available in traditional books such as containing clickable links to related websites of interest,
containing a "search" feature to help you locate the information you want quicker, and sometimes simple software applications.
As you actually download the book off the Internet there's no need to pay shipping charges which makes life cheaper for you, and you can search on the Internet rather than having
to trawl around numerous reptile stores looking for what you want.
No wonder then that ebooks are so popular.
Except they haven't yet made much of an impact on the snake and reptile scene, so one of my aims, as an avid ebook reader myself, is to release a number of reptile-related ebooks
which I hope will be of interest to you, my visitors.
In addition, we fully expect to review other reptile-related ebooks here so this section will act as a comprehensive list of available ebooks on the subject.
Which should be easy to start off with as there are hardly any available ;-)
So lets start off here with our very own ebook:
